Haojue is Suzuki’s partner for the Chinese two-wheeler market

Chinese two-wheeler brand, Haojue, is all set to launch its upcoming 300cc cruiser, the TR300. It’s design patent was unveiled last month. The bike has been spotted testing in China, sans camouflage and here’s what we expect from it.

Suzuki’s Chinese counterpart has been working on the baby cruiser and it will borrow the motor from the DR300 and Suzuki’s GSX-S300. So, expect it to be a 298cc liquid-cooled, a parallel-twin unit with the output rated at 29.23PS and 27.8Nm. However, the power delivery could be altered to suit the cruiser character.

The spy shots also reveal other details like the split seat setup, a large fuel tank as well as underpinnings. The upcoming Haojue TR300 is suspended on a conventional telescopic fork and twin rear shocks. It uses disc brakes at both ends and rolls on alloy wheels wrapped in chunky rubber.

Haojue is unlikely to enter the Indian market, so the chances of the TR300 launching here are bleak. However, Suzuki is working on the upcoming Intruder 250 for India which will be powered by the Gixxer 250’s motor.
