Before we get to the actual figures, let’s refresh our memory a bit. With its last deal, Hero MotoCorp has been responsible for Harley-Davidson’s sales and service throughout India. So, with the ‘First to Ride’ programme, Hero has decided to offer heavy discounts on select Harley-Davidson models. While it sounds rather exciting, the offer can be only availed by Hero’s business partners and their employees.
The offer is valid on the FatBoy 114, Fat Boy 107, Low Rider, and the Low Rider S. Here’s a breakdown of the discounts:
Model |
Discount Amount |
Fat Boy 114 |
Rs 2,25,000 |
Fat Boy 107 |
Rs 2,00,000 |
Low Rider |
Rs 1,25,000 |
Low Rider S |
Rs. 1,50,000 |
Only the first 200 units for sale will come at the discounted price. Moreover, the bikes will also have the Chairman’s signature, making them rather special. This not only allows Harley-Davidson to move more inventory but also invites a new customer base to indulge in this premium segment of motorcycles.
In other news, Harley-Davidson will launch its 2021 lineup in India in a span of two months or so. This will include the Milwaukee brand’s first ADV and probably one of the most anticipated bikes, the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250. In the coming years, expect smaller bikes from the American brand, majorly for the Asian market.
