The brand will showcase six key models at their pavilion, themed the 'Arena of Desire.' The lineup will include BEVs, a concept, AMGs, and a Maybach, highlighting the German carmaker’s prominent presence at what is India’s biggest automotive event. Let’s take a closer look at all the models on display:
The Mercedes-Benz G 580 is the electric version of the iconic G-Class, featuring a 116 kWh battery pack and four electric motors, producing 587 PS and a mammoth 1,164 Nm of torque. Despite being an EV, it retains its off-road capabilities, with added features like better water wading and the ability to rotate on the spot. This blend of power and ruggedness ensures it’s ready for both urban and off-road adventures. The price is expected to start around Rs 1.25 crore, with more details available closer to its release.
The Mercedes Concept CLA gives a glimpse of the next-generation CLA, which will also come to India. It stands out with large 21-inch wheels and a futuristic design. The electric concept offers both single and dual-motor setups and uses an 800-volt system for better performance. Inside, it features the MBUX Superscreen, a wide display that stretches across the entire dashboard, showcasing its modern tech.
The Mercedes-Maybach EQS 680 Night Series is a luxury electric SUV with an exclusive design package that features darkened exterior elements and premium finishes. It combines the elegance of Maybach with the performance of an electric motor, offering 690 PS and a range of about 560 km on a full charge. It’s expected to be priced around Rs 1.5 crore, with an additional Rs 20 lakh for the Night Series design package.
The iconic SL will also be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo. The Mercedes-AMG SL 55 4MATIC+ is a high-performance roadster with a sporty design, featuring a 4-litre V8 engine that produces 476 PS and 700 Nm of torque.
