Honda has introduced new Exclusive Editions of its popular sub-4 metre models - the Amaze, Jazz and WR-V. These special editions are based on the top-spec VX variant of the respective cars and cost up to Rs 19,000 more than the corresponding variant. These special edition cars are only available in two body colours - Radiant Red Metallic and Orchid White Pearl. Let's tackle one car at a time, shall we?
Honda Amaze Exclusive Edition
The Honda Amaze Exclusive Edition gets cosmetic updates such as black dual-tone stickers on the standard alloy wheels, an ‘Exclusive Edition’ badge on the boot lid and illuminated sill plates. On the inside, you get black seat covers with perforation as opposed to the beige fabric in the standard car. It also gets a sliding front armrest with storage underneath. The additional features come at a premium of Rs 12,000, which seems justifiable in our opinion.
Honda WR-V Exclusive Edition
The WR-V Exclusive Edition takes a step ahead of the Amaze. It gets an all-new black-painted spoiler with an LED stop light, body graphics, illuminated sill plates as well as Exclusive Edition badging. Inside. Like the Amaze, the WR-V too gets black perforated seat covers. These additions cost Rs 18,000 over and above the standard VX variant.
Honda Jazz Exclusive Edition
Available only with the petrol-CVT powertrain, the Jazz Exclusive Edition gets the same black tailgate spoiler with an LED stop light as the special edition WR-V. It also gets black alloy wheels, body graphics, illuminated sill plates and Exclusive Edition badging. On the inside, it gets black perforated seat covers as the other two. The Jazz Exclusive Edition is priced at a premium of Rs 19,000 over the VX variant it is based on.
There’s no doubt that these cosmetic additions will help your new Honda car stand out from the regular models. And where the Amaze gets a front centre armrest, the Jazz and the WR-V get a good looking, black-coloured tailgate spoiler. So if you are considering buying one of these Honda models, we suggest you take a look at the new special editions as well.
