The design is the section where the new Apex edition has all to add. On the exterior, the fascia and the sides have piano black lower spoilers with a silver accent, giving it a sharper look.
In the rear, the car has a piano black lower garnish with chrome inserts for added bling. To complete it, there’s “Apex Edition” badging on the fender and an emblem on the tailgate.
The interior in the new Apex edition is also reworked and features several cosmetic updates. It now has dual-tone ivory and black themed upholstery alongside soft touch leatherette material on the dashboard as well as the door pads. The seat covers also further come with an Apex Edition embossing on the seat covers and cushions. Lastly, it also comes with ambient lighting on the door pads and pockets with seven customisable colours.
The new Apex edition of the Elevate comes packed with the same features as the standard V and VX variants like LED Projector headlights with DRLs, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, keyless entry, a 6-speaker sound system, wireless smartphone charger, push button start/stop and keyless entry.
For safety, the Elevate includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill start assist and ISOFIX. Bits such as the larger 10.25-inch touchscreen and ADAS are limited to the top-end ZX variant, which this edition isn’t offered with.
The Honda Elevate gets a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that puts out 121 PS and 145 Nm. It is coupled with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT.
The Honda Elevate is priced from Rs 11.91 lakh to Rs 16.43 lakh (ex-showroom). It rivals the likes of Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Tata Curvv, Kia Seltos, Toyota Hyryder, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Citroen Basalt and C3 Aircross.
