India-bound Honda Forza 350 Soon To Make Its European Debut

Honda is all set to unveil the updated version of the Forza maxi-scooter, the Forza 350, in Europe next month. The October 14 unveiling date was announced via a teaser video put out by the Japanese brand on its YouTube channel. Thankfully, details of the Forza 350 are known to us as the scooter made its maiden appearance in Thailand a couple of months ago. Honda India confirmed late last year that the Forza series would be available in India with the possibility of the 350 getting a mid-2021 launch date.

The main change on the maxi-scooter remains the engine that has now gone up from 279cc to 329.6cc. It makes 29.4PS and 31.97Nm, which will certainly make it the most powerful scooter in the country. With rider aids such as dual-channel ABS and traction control on board, it will also be the most tech-laden scooter in India.

Features such as the electrically adjustable windscreen, keyless operation, USB charging and semi-digital instrumentation amp up its premium quotient. There’s plenty of storage space too with the underseat compartment capable of storing two full-face helmets with ease.

Honda had brought a few units of its predecessor, the Forza 300, to our shores to test the Indian consumer’s response towards a maxi-scooter, a style that has primarily only worked in Europe. The handful of units were sold off at an undisclosed amount to few customers and Honda had stated that we should be getting ready for a proper launch of the scooter. Now, given that the Forza 350 will be the one to meet EU5 norms, we too will be getting the same.
