Honda 2Wheelers has announced that customers can now book their all-new scooter, the Honda Grazia, from any Honda two-wheeler dealership for an amount of Rs 2,000. The Grazia is expected to be an advanced urban scooter targeted towards a younger audience. It is likely that the Japanese company will launch the urban-centric scooter after the launch of the Honda Cliq, which is designed to be more focused towards rural riders.
From the teaser images, we can see that the new scooter gets a sharp and wide apron along with a wide footboard. At the front, the Honda Grazia sports a twin headlamp setup with turn indicators placed above them. In terms of aesthetics, the Japanese company has decided to adopt a dual-tone colour scheme to compliment the sharp and edgy design of the Grazia. From the images, we can also see that the scooter features a semi-digital instrument cluster.
The Grazia is expected to carry the same engine as the Honda Activa 125. The 125cc, single-cylinder unit churns out 8.5PS of power at 5600rpm and 10.5Nm of peak torque at 5000rpm. Expect the Grazia to be peppier than the Activa 125 thanks to its lighter kerb weight.
Considering the fact that the Grazia will be sold alongside the Honda Activa 125, which retails for Rs 59,427 (ex-showroom Delhi), we can expect the Honda Grazia to be priced around Rs 55,000 to Rs 60,000 (ex-showroom).
