Following a great response for the Mobilio since its launch in January, Honda has now introduced a new top-of-the-line RS variant in Indonesia. The Honda Mobilio RS will be made available in both manual as well as automatic transmission options at 203.5 million Rupiah (Rs. 10.19 lakh) and 214 million Rupiah (Rs. 10.72 lakh) respectively. The RS variant gets visual upgrades on the outside as well as to its interiors. It will also come loaded with features.
On the outside, the RS Mobilio gets revised front and rear bumpers, a roof mounted rear spoiler, aero body kits, chrome muffler and refreshed 15-inch alloy wheels. The car also gets a segment first LED projector headlights with light guide.
On the inside, the dashboard gets a black treatment which is complimented well by the silver accents on the AC vents and internal door handles. Enhancing the overall look is the gear knob that gets a chrome treatment. The Mobilio RS also come loaded with features like 6.1-inch colour screen, reverse parking camera, speed sensing auto central lock and steering mounted controls.
The top of the line Prestige RS variant will be made available in seven colour options: Carnelian Red Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, White Orchid Pearl, Brilliant Gold Metallic and Bronze Metallic Ionized.
While the Honda Mobilio is yet to be launched in India, it is interesting to see the kind of response it has received in the Indonesian market. The car has received more than 35,000 registrations since its launch in January 2014 making it the second best-selling car in the segment. The Honda Mobilio is expected to perform equally well once it is launched in India next month. Also Read: Official: Honda Mobilio to be launched next month
