Honda developing new entry level scooter

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) started the FY’2015-16 with a great bang. Honda India was able to sell a record 41,000 units on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya. The Western region retail saw an impressive hike of 60 per cent while the demand in Central India rose by over 30 per cent. The sales on Akshaya Tritiya for Honda grew by over 50 per cent with respect to last year. The overall Dream series (comprising of Dream Yuga, Dream NEO and CD 110 Dream) witnessed a 55 per cent rise in sales.
Elaborating on the sales, Mr. Yadvinder S. Guleria, Senior Vice President - Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd., “While we had the reports on muted sentiment towards gold-buying, it has been a great revelation of trust & confidence in brand Honda seeing the swelling walk-ins at our network and overall conversions into retails. The 50% increase in sales during akshaya tritiya is a significant jump, and even surpassed all our expectations. This, yet again reinforces trust that customer repose in Honda.”
