Honda India Mulls Building EV Battery Plant

Honda Cars India has announced that it will organise a nationwide service camp for its customers across India. Aimed at providing a better experience to its customers, the service camp will be organised from January 8 to January 14, 2018, at all Honda service centres in India.
At the camp, customers will be able to avail services such free 50-point car check-up, free top wash and on-spot evaluation of old vehicles. Customers can also avail attractive offers such as an engine oil coupon through lucky draws, up to 20% discount on value added services, and discounts on selected accessories along with a chance to win goodies and gift hampers.
Talking about the initiative, Yoichiro Ueno, President and CEO, Honda Cars India, said, “Honda is committed to offer joy of buying and owning our cars to our customers. In order to offer an unmatched experience to our customers even after they purchase our products, we are organizing this nation-wise service camp across the country reaffirming our commitment to customers. We hope our customers will make the most of this initiative.”
Last year, Honda announced that it plans to launch six new models in India by 2020. These will include facelifts of the current models along with some new models. Among the new ones, Honda might reintroduce the much awaited Civic which was discontinued in the country back in 2013. Honda’s current lineup includes the Brio, Amaze, Jazz, City, WR-V, BR-V, CR-V and the Accord Hybrid.
