Hyundai has already previously confirmed launching the Creta Electric at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 starting on January 17. While the popular Creta nameplate has already put high gears for the Korean brand, it has now gone a step further, confirming a few other models to be displayed in the coveted event. So let's take a look at all the cars collectively that we are about to see.
The Hyundai Ioniq 9 was unveiled globally in November. Making its way to the Korean and US markets, this three-row electric SUV will sit a notch above the Ioniq 5 in India when launched here. The car is loaded with an array of features, including a 12-inch dual-display setup, a panoramic sunroof, an 8-speaker sound system, and 180-degree rotating seats with a massage function. It is powered by a 110.3 kWh battery pack, offering a WLTP-claimed range of 620 km in the international model. The Ioniq 9 is built on the same E-GMP platform as its sibling, the Ioniq 5, and the newly launched Kia EV9. We anticipate it may arrive on Indian shores later and, when launched, could compete with the Kia EV9, priced at Rs 1.3 crore (ex-showroom).
The Hyundai Staria is a premium MPV with a stand-out design and styling. The exterior features bold LED lighting elements, a humpy silhouette, and a distinctive spaceship-like appearance riding on 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the Staria offers a spacious and versatile cabin, with configurations for up to 11 passengers depending on the variant. It is equipped with features like a 10.25-inch infotainment system, and ventilated and heated seats. Powering the Staria is a 2.2-litre diesel engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. It will be put up for a public showcase and more bits on its pricing and launch are not expected to be announced for now.
The Hyundai Creta Electric is an all-electric version of the popular compact Creta SUV. It retains the overall design language of the standard Creta but includes EV-specific elements such as a closed grille and aerodynamic wheels. The interior features a fully digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated seats and a wealth of other modern features. The Creta Electric is equipped with a 42 kWh and a 51.4 kWh battery pack, offering an estimated range of up to 473 km on a single charge. We’ll get to the full price list of the Creta Electric at the event.
Apart from the three products mentioned above, Hyundai will also showcase a range of modern technologies they have been working on, including ADAS simulators, live AI art, and more. Let us know in the comments how excited you are for Hyundai's latest offerings on display!
