Hyundai's has introduced an industry-first EMI Assurance Plan that will cover upto three car instalments in case customers lose their jobs during the current pandemic. With coronavirus wreaking havoc across the world and the country in lockdown mode, the Indian automobile industry has been one of the hardest hit, if not the most. Factors such as companies laying off its employees and the lack of career opportunities resulted in zero car sales in April. To rectify this, various carmakers have introduced new and innovative methods to promote the sale of cars while the government has slowly begun easing restrictions on manufacturing and sales.
Hyundai has not only rolled out online sales but has now introduced a unique EMI Assurance Plan. This plan is valid on select models and for a year from the date of purchase of vehicles bought between May 4 and May 31. The plan will cover EMI payments of upto three months within the one year period excluding the first three months of purchase.
"Hyundai is a Progressive, Innovative and Caring brand. We understand customer aspirations of buying a vehicle and to ease the vehicle acquisition in uncertain times, we have brought the unique and industry first Hyundai EMI Assurance Program. We are sure, the Hyundai EMI Assurance Program will give new Hyundai owners working in private organisations full peace of mind during these times and create positive and confident sentiments for Hyundai car purchase." said Tarun Garg, Director - Sales, Marketing and Service, Hyundai Motor India.
