Jaguar India has announced that Raipur, Chhatisgarh, will be the next destination for it performance tour in India. The performance tour consists of 32 drive events in total, and Raipur will be the fifteenth city to host the event, after cities like Pune, Ahmedabad, Indore, Jaipur, Gurugram, Karnal, Chandigarh, Noida, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Chennai, Vijayawada, Hyderabad and Nagpur. The Art Of Performance Tour was first launched at Aamby Valley, a private township situated 87km from Pune.
According to Jaguar, the aim behind organising this pan-India tour is to give customers an opportunity to experience the thrill of being behind the wheel of a Jaguar. It will be done under the guidance of expert instructors. At the event, prospective owners of the British marque will be able to get their hands on the entire Jaguar range, which includes the XE, XF, XJ, F-Pace and the F-Type.
The XE is Jaguar’s most affordable offering and goes up against luxury cars like the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, BMW 3 Series and the Audi A4. Meanwhile, the XF sits between the XE and the XJ and takes on the Mercedes Benz E-Class, BMW 5-Series and the Audi A6.
The XJ is the British manufacturer’s flagship sedan and it goes against German flagships like the Mercedes Benz S-Class, Audi A8 and the BMW 7 Series.
The F-Pace is Jaguar’s first and the only SUV, which was launched by the company to access the growing SUV market.
The F-type is the fastest and coolest car of the lot and is available in both coupe and convertible options. If you are looking to roar on the streets at night, the F-type simply is the sportscar for you.
The Art Of Performance Tour event is scheduled to be held on 28 and 29 October in Raipur, followed by tours in Aurangabad, Ahmedabad and Surat which are scheduled for the next month.
Earlier this month, Jaguar announced a 45 per cent growth in its sales volume by selling 2,942 units in the first nine months of 2017. Events like the Art Of Performance Tour will help the brand to grow and compete with the German trio in terms of sales in the premium segment.
Currently, Jaguar India operates 25 dealerships across the country.
