Automobili Lamborghini has launched the Huracan EVO RWD in India at Rs 3.22 crore (ex-showroom). It’s the most affordable variant in the Huracan EVO lineup, undercutting its AWD sibling (Rs 3.73 crore ex-showroom) by Rs 51 lakh.
The Huracan EVO RWD utilises Lambo’s legendary 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 unit that develops 610PS of power and 560Nm of twist. However, that force is sent to the rear wheels only unlike its sibling -- the Huracan EVO and Huracan EVO Spyder -- which get all-wheel-drive. It must be noted the EVO RWD loses 30PS and 40Nm in the process. But the excitement factor remains high as it’s just a shade slower than its siblings!

The Huracan EVO RWD utilises the same 7-speed dual-clutch transmission as the other variants. It also sheds speed quite quickly, coming to a full stop from 100kmph in just 31.9 metres!
Lamborghini offers a host of computer aids with the Huracan EVO RWD. Lamborghini’s Integrated Vehicle Dynamics (LDVI), or drive modes, is accessed via the 8.4-inch infotainment screen and alters various parameters of the Huracan EVO RWD. It also comes with Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS) system, ensuring quicker steering response for improved agility.

The Huracan EVO RWD looks similar to the Huracan EVO AWD. Its headlamps along with the aggressive bumpers and splitters make the front end look mean and sharp. The swoopy coupe silhouette along with the sharp creases and lines gives it an aggressive stance. Dual exhaust outlets and the sleek LED tail lamps give it a wild appearance, just like a Raging Bull should! Meanwhile, the cabin is pretty much the same as the AWD variants. You can read more about them here.
Globally, the Huracan EVO RWD locks horns with the Audi R8 V10 RWD.
