Launch Alert: BMW launches the X5 with an M Sport variant

The BMW X5 is BMW’s flagship SUV which has established quite a customer base for itself. Recently, BMW also unleashed the X5 M, a monster of an SUV with a sportscar like performance. We drove it and it was absolutely mental. Now though, the Bavarian car maker has launched a new variant of the X5 called the X5 xDrive 30d M Sport for a price of Rs 75,90,000 ex-showroom, Delhi.

The M Sport variant comes with BMW’s M Aerodynamic package which includes larger air intakes, air curtains and air blades for better intake and air flow, an M badge on the front grille and an M door sill strip. It also comes with 19-inch M light wheels and the Adaptive M air suspension which BMW claims delivers a smooth ride and great handling. The engine is the same 3,0-litre straight six engine that does duty on the standard car which makes 258PS of max power and 560Nm of peak torque.
