Next-gen Volkswagen Polo gets rendered

Hoping to make a mark in the Indian festive season, Volkswagen has spiced up the Polo hatchback by launching a limited edition version termed as ‘Polo Exquisite’. The limited edition hatchback sports stylish new exterior design addition and also includes some extra new features.
Offered in just the manual Highline variant, the Polo Exquisite has been priced close to Rs 6.70 lakh for the petrol version and Rs 8.05 lakh (approx) for diesel. The changes on the exterior of the German hatchback car include black roof foil, detachable made-to-size window blinds and carbon fibre finish on ORVMs.
Inside, the limited edition Volkswagen Polo sports carbon fibre finish on the centre console, stylish seat covers, ‘Polo’ scuff plates and floor mats. In terms of safety features the Polo Exquisite comes equipped with ABS, dual front air-bags as standard fitment and boasts of a 4-star NCAP safety rating for adult occupants.
Recently, as a preventive measure Volkswagen had recalled close to 389 units of the Polo produced in September 2015 due to faulty handbrake system. The Volkswagen Polo is the German car manufacturer’s most popular car in India, as it sells about 2,500 units every month.
