At the recent Tuner Grand Prix in Hockenheimring, Lorinser literally presented a three pointed 'STAR'ship. With 500 PS and a mindboggling 630 Nm of torque puts this 'C' firmly in supercar territory. This is all thanks to the 6.2 litre V8 which is a gem of an engine. The performance figures are right there as well. The 0-100 km/h dash takes a Porsche rivaling 4.3 seconds while the car charges onto a top speed of 320 km/h. With lowered springs and a tuned suspension setup, the C goes around corners as well as it goes on the straights. What also helps are the massive 255 section Continental tyres which provide leech like grip. For the aural delight Lorinser provides the well tempered Lorinser exhaust unit.
On the outside, Lorinser has made sure the car looks anything but like the normal C. Flared fenders, 5-spoke 18 inch rims, a complete aero kit makes sure the LV8 stays on the ground. Despite the mental levels of performance offered by the car, the LV8 is extremely usable as an everyday machine and is totally road legal. Lorinser is already present in India so if you need to soup up your Merc, you know where to head.
