Mahindra Two Wheelers latest offering for the commuter segment, the feature-packed Centuro has been well received by customers as it has registered over 10,000 bookings after being launched on July 1. The Centuro is loaded with features that are not present even in premium segment bikes in the country such as central locking, anti-theft system with an engine immobiliser and remote 128-bit encrypted flip-key with LED lights. Apart from these features it also employs find me lights to locate the bike in crowded parking lots and guide lamps that continues to illuminate as one walks away from the bike after parking it. The bike has been designed in-house by Mahindra at their R&D centre in Pune. Mahindra has also offered 5-year warranty on the Centuro, making it the second two-wheeler manufacturer to give warranty of such an extended period after Hero MotoCorp. At Rs. 45,000, the Centuro is all set to go up against the Hero Passion Pro which starts at Rs. 45,850 for the spoke/kick Variant and the Honda Dream Yuga with starts at Rs. 45,101.
