Mahindra e2o launched in UK

Mahindra and Mahindra has officially marked its entrance in the UK automotive market with the launch of the e2o electric city car. The car is offered in two trim options: e2o City and e2o TechX. The electric city car is equipped with more features as compared to its Indian sibling. 

The Mahindra e2o electric car has a tall-body design that allows good visibility and comfortable driving position. The car has the capacity to accommodate four adults. It comes equipped with safety features like dual SRS airbags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), and Electronic Stability Control (ESC). Mahindra has also equipped the e2o with Regenerative Braking System (RBS) that harnesses energy during braking extending the car’s range while travelling.

Speaking on the launch of the e2o in UK, Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra Group said, “I am very proud to announce that the e2o is now available in the UK and this marks a true milestone for the Mahindra Group. I invite people to come and test drive the Mahindra e2o ‘ElectriCity Car’ and help drive a positive change to the air quality in their cities. The entry-level variant e2o City features all the basic features as mentioned above. The higher-spec e2o TechX carries all the features of the base variant and comes with additional auxiliary features like a touchscreen infotainment centre with reversing camera, telematics, Revive remote emergency recharging, leather seats, alloy wheels and a rapid charging port.

In India, Mahindra sells the e2o across its dealership network at a price of Rs 7.17 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
