Mahindra KUV100 can be bought online on Flipkart

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited (M&M) has struck a deal with online shopping site Flipkart to launch its much awaited KUV 100 on the web. The young KUV100 can also be bought online from Mahindra in-house portal ‘m2all.com’. Mahindra has aimed the KUV100 for the youth and for first time car buyers. After the KUV100’s launch today, Flipkart will commence the online sale of the car from mid-night of January 18, 2016.

M&M had previously tied-up with Snapdeal for sale of the new Scorpio. The venture had received about 3 million hits and nearly sold about 100 units of the new Scorpio. The online sale was an exercise carried out by the manufacturer prior to new Scorpio unveiling. The car maker however this time will initiate the sale of the KUV100 only after its official launch.

Commenting on the tie-up, Veejay Ram Nakra, Sr VP, sales & customer care, Automotive Division at Mahindra & Mahindra told ET, "The entire e-commerce landscape has changed in a very big way in the past two years. The online traffic is not metro centric anymore, e-commerce data shows that it is an all India phenomenon, given the KUV 100 is a mass product.”

"We expect the traffic to be atleast two to two-and-half times higher than what we have generated in the past," he further added.

The new Mahindra KUV100 will be advertised on the respective online portals apart from sale of the car. Interested buyer will be directed to dealers after the preferred city and dealership has been chosen. The necessary paperwork will be handled by the dealer thus completing the transaction. 

The Mahindra KUV100 is the newest offering by the largest utility vehicle manufacturer of India. Developed completely in-house, the KUV100 is first vehicle by the manufacturer to be offered with a first-ever petrol engine option built solely by Mahindra. People who wish to own the KUV100 can choose from over seven exciting colours - Fiery Orange, Flamboyant Red, Dazzling Silver, Aquamarine, Pearl White, Designer Grey and Midnight Black.
