While the BS4 KUV100 NXT was available in a total of eight variants, the petrol-only KUV100 comes in four: K2+, K4+, K6+, and K8. The idle start-stop system is exclusive to the top-spec K8 trim level.

Under the bonnet, the BS6 engine is an updated form of the 1.2-litre mFalcon G80 engine. It continues to be rated at 82PS of power and 115Nm of torque, although the claimed fuel economy may change slightly after the BS6 updates. It is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission as before. The 78PS 1.2-litre diesel engine hasn't been updates to meet BS6 emission norms.
