It looks like Mahindra could launch the AMT variants of the Marazzo in the coming weeks. An RTO document reveals the variants that will come with the AMT. The good news is Mahindra will be offering AMT in all variants, including the base M2. We expect it to command a premium of around Rs 50,000 over the manual model. Here’s how the manual variants are priced:
Marazzo Variants |
Manual Prices (ex-showroom) |
M2 7- / 8- seater |
Rs 11.64 lakh |
M4+ 7- / 8- seater |
Rs 12.73 lakh / Rs 12.81 lakh |
M6+ 7- / 8- seater |
Rs 13.72 lakh / Rs 13.80 lakh |
The Marazzo AMT will continue to utilise the 122PS/300Nm 1.5-litre diesel engine from its manual counterpart. Just like the XUV300 that utilises the same powertrain, the Marazzo’s engine will be mated to the 6-speed AMT. To know our impressions on this powertrain, read our first drive review of the XUV300 diesel AMT.
Apart from the AMT, the Marazzo will be offered with a new 163PS 1.5-litre mStallion petrol engine that could come with both manual and automatic transmissions. However, the petrol variants could see the light of day at a later stage as Mahindra is yet to reveal any official information regarding its launch.

The introduction of a diesel-AMT will definitely help draw more buyers. The Marazzo is positioned in between the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Innova Crysta. We expect it to reach showrooms in the coming weeks.
