The BS6 Mahindra Marazzo is set to launch in a couple of weeks. Shortly after the announcement, we exclusively got the variant-wise prices of the BS6 Marazzo and now we also have the brochure with variant-wise features. Aside from the BS6-compliant 1.5-litre diesel engine, the variant lineup has also been rejigged. It will now be offered in three trims: M2, M4+ and M6+ while the top-spec M8 variant has been axed from the lineup. Here’s what each variant offers:
M2 7- / 8- seater- Rs 11.01 lakh
We start off with the most barebones variant of the Marazzo, the M2. Unlike the variants above it, the M2’s feature list remains relatively unchanged. Highlights include twin-chamber halogen headlamps, 16-inch steel rims, manually adjustable ORVMs with integrated side turn indicators, power windows, central locking, rear AC vents, and a USB charging point at the rear. Safety kit includes dual airbags, ABS with EBD, disc brakes on all wheels, ISOFIX child seat mounts, as well as driver and co-driver seatbelt reminder.
Being the base variant, it misses out on equipment such as alloy wheels, chrome cladding, automatic climate control, steering-mounted controls, multi-point lumbar support, remote keyless entry, and USB/AUX outlets at the front. It also doesn’t have any form of entertainment system, front and rear fog lamps, and rear parking camera. This variant is the ideal pick if you’re tight on budget and willing to compromise on equipment available in higher variants.
M4+ 7- / 8- seater - Rs 12.37 lakh / Rs 12.45 lakh
Next up in the Marazzo lineup is the mid-spec M4+ that replaces the M4 variant. It retains all the features from the M2 and the previous M4 variant and gets additional equipment too. It does not get bits like the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, automatic climate control, premium fabric upholstery, sunglass holder, illuminated side vanity panel projector headlamps and more. Here’s what it features over the M2 variant:
Body-coloured ORVMs
16-inch alloy wheels
Audio system with FM/AM, AUX, USB
Bluetooth connectivity
4 speakers
Setting mounted controls
Electronically adjustable ORVMs
Height-adjustable driver’s seat
Remote keyless entry
Rear wiper and washer
Rear defogger with auto timer
M6+ 7- / 8- seater - Rs 13.51 lakh / Rs 13.59 lakh
We head to the creme de la creme in the Marazzo lineup, the M6+ which replaces not only the M6 but also the M8 as the top-spec Marazzo. This variant retains everything from the M4+ and also borrows some equipment from the M8. Here’s what differentiates it from the M4+:
Twin-chamber single projector low beam headlamps
Follow-me-home headlamps
Chrome inserts
17-inch alloy wheels
Automatic climate control
Premium fabric upholstery
Sunglass holder
Illuminated side vanity panel
Driver’s side auto up/down power windows.
7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation
Front and rear fog lamps
Rear camera with steering adaptive parking guidelines display
Despite being the new fully loaded Marazzo variant, the M6+ misses out on features from the M8 such as leather upholstery, cooled illuminated glove box, an extra USB slot as well as Android Auto and Apple Carplay. This explains why the top-spec variant is up to Rs 1.18 lakh more affordable than before.
