Mahindra Marazzo Gets Apple CarPlay Connectivity

Mahindra has announced that its recently launched Marazzo MPV will now be available with Apple CarPlay as well. At the time of launch, the infotainment system in the MPV had support for Android Auto only, along with Mahindra’s own Bluesense app and emergency call function. As was the case before, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are only available on the top-of-the-line M8 7-seater variant.

Apple CarPlay enables users to mirror the iOS interface on to the touchscreen system. Thanks to Apple CarPlay, iPhone users can use functions like Siri search and Apple Music on the infotainment system. The system also organises phone calls and messages, and comes with a readout feature which according to Mahindra, helps the driver focus on the road.

The Mahindra Marazzo is the latest MPV from Mahindra which is priced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 13.90 lakh (ex-showroom India). It comes with a brand new 1.5-litre diesel engine making 121PS of max power and 300Nm of peak torque. It is also the first mass-market car in India to come with a double wishbone suspension setup.

Mahindra Introduces Apple CarPlay in Marazzo

Bolsters Marazzo’s already strong suite of connectivity features

Mumbai, October 24, 2018: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), part of the USD 20.7 billion Mahindra Group, today introduced Apple CarPlay in its recently-launched Marazzo MPV.

Apple CarPlay offers easy access to phone calls, music & Siri Search by seamlessly connecting the user’s Apple iPhone with the infotainment system of the Marazzo and automatically organizes useful information such as Phone Contacts and Call Logs from the user’s iPhone into a simple User Interface that appears on the infotainment system display.

With an intuitive interface, integrated steering controls and powerful voice-activated actions, such as SMS read out, it is designed to minimize distraction and enable the driver to stay focused on the road enhancing the safety of the driver and passengers.
