Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd launched the new Rodeo UZO 125 at Rs 47,957 (ex-showroom Delhi). The new Mahindra Rodeo UZO is the premium version of the standard Rodeo and can be visually distinguished by the new graphics running across the body and coloured wheels. The new scooter has been fitted with two-tone dual texture seat that prevents the rider from slipping during acceleration or sudden braking.
Being a premium offering, the Mahindra Rodeo UZO 125 has been loaded with features like an external front fuelling, a full digital instrument cluster that houses the speedometer, tachometer, odometer, trip meter, clock, high speed warning alarm and accelerometer. The scooter also comes equipped with a charging point to charge mobile phones and other electronic devices alongwith a side stand safety buzzer. The Mahindra Rodeo UZO 125 also has the highest underseat storage capacity at 21-litres and the storage space is illuminated and protected by a 4-in-1 antitheft key.
Speaking at the launch, Viren Popli, Chief of Operations, Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. said “The Rodeo UZO 125 redefines the scooter segment on many fronts, creating new benchmarks on performance, technology, features, convenience and style. The UZO 125 is targeted at youth looking to own a scooter that reflects their winning style and modern outlook.”
Powering the scooter is a 125cc, air-cooled motor churning out 8PS of max power and torque rating stands at 9Nm. Mahindra claims that new Rodeo UZO 125 has a fuel efficiency of 59kmpl (ARAI figure). The new scooter will be available in the following shades of Racetrack Black, Colt Black, Victory Violet and Blazing Blue. The Mahindra Rodeo UZO 125 will compete against the Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access 125 in the 125cc scooter segment.
