Mahindra has launched a new variant of its baby SUV, the TUV300. With the launch of the new variant, Mahindra prepares to take advantage of the festive season. The prices for the same start at Rs 9.75 lakh and go up to Rs 10.65 lakh (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi)
On the exterior, the car gets the new smoked headlamps and dark chrome inserts on the 7-slat grill and fog lamps housing. Other changes include the metallic grey roof rails, rear spoiler and the metallic grey finish on the tailgate-mounted spare wheel. It is offered with the same set of 15-inch alloy wheels as the lower variants, however they now flaunt a metallic grey finish. This is disappointing as all other cars in the segment offer bigger alloy wheels. The T10 variant is offered in a new Pearl White colour option and an option for dual tone exterior is also available.
Under the hood, TUV 300 T10 gets the same 1.5-litre mHawk100 diesel engine with a 2-stage turbocharger producing 100PS of power and 240Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT.
Available at a premium of Rs 50,000 over the T8 variant, T10 becomes the more value for money option as it gets features such as 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, faux leather interiors and metal grey alloys over the T8 variant.
