Mahindra XUV300 Launch Date Revealed
  • Mahindra has announced that it will launch the XUV300 on 14 February 2019.
  • The Mahindra XUV300 will be available in four trim levels, with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol or a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine.
  • Expected to be priced in the Rs 8-12 lakh bracket
  • Biggest competition will be the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, though it will also take on the Tata Nexon and the Ford EcoSport.

More than a week after opening official bookings for the XUV300, Mahindra has today announced its official launch date. The newest contender in the compact-SUV segment will be launched on 14 February 2019.

We already know that the XUV300 will be offered with two engine options - a 1.2-litre, turbo-petrol motor and the same 1.5-litre, turbo-diesel motor as the Marazzo MPV. Both these engines will be tuned to be torquey, with the petrol developing 200Nm of peak torque and the diesel developing 300Nm of peak torque - the latter being the highest in the segment.

Four trims, W4, W6, W8 and W8 (O), will be on offer with prices ranging from Rs 8-12 lakh (ex-showroom India). It will have some unique features in its arsenal to take on the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, including seven airbags, dual-zone climate control, disc brakes on all wheels, front parking sensors, 6-speed transmission and LED lights all around.
