Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift to be launched in India

The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has been with us for about four years now and hasn’t seen any changes whatsoever. However, as we had revealed in our recent New Cars for 2015: MUV, the Ertiga facelift will be launched soon. Now, some spy pictures showing the latest updates to the Ertiga have emerged.

The new Ertiga sports noticeable changes in the front bumpers, which remind us of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. Gone is the honeycomb mesh grille that the Ertiga sported being replaced by a single slat chrome grille with a chrome surround instead. The front bumper too has been redesigned completely and now sports similar styling to the likes of the Ciaz. The distinctive cuts in the bumper make the Ertiga look a lok sportier than before. The Ertiga will also get a set of chrome garnish trims along the fog light cluster like the ones seen in the new Swift.

Also expect a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels on the Eritga along with a redesigned rear bumper and tail lamp cluster. We also expect the facelifted Ertiga to get new interiors either in cream or in a shade of black depending on the variant. Also expect a new infotainment system with a possible touchscreen and navigation feature added. The Eritga will be sold in petrol, diesel and CNG options with the same engines that the current car sports.
