Suzuki Connect offers features like live vehicle status, real-time vehicle tracking, security alerts, driver behaviour analysis, and roadside assistance.
The subscription model comes for Rs 11,900 for a three-year period.
Nexa owners get a special renewal offer of Rs 2,299 (3 years) and Rs 999 (1 year).
When Maruti Suzuki launched its advanced telematics solution, Suzuki Connect, back in 2018, it was only available for the Nexa range of cars -- Ignis, Baleno, XL6, Ciaz, and S-Cross. Now, the carmaker has introduced this connected car technology to its Arena models as well.
Suzuki Connect is essentially a black box for a vehicle, of sorts. It works with a TCU (telematics control unit) that streams data onto a dedicated app on your smartphone.
It allows for a variety of functions, including:
Vehicle security alerts
Real-time location tracking
Geo-fencing
Driver behaviour analysis (based on factors like acceleration, braking, speed, sharp turns)
Live vehicle status (AC, ignition, and fuel level)
Access emergency roadside assistance
You can subscribe to a three-year plan of Suzuki Connect for Rs 11,900 (inclusive of taxes). In fact, the carmaker is offering existing Nexa owners special renewal options: Rs 2,299 for three years or Rs 999 for one year.
