Maruti Suzuki To Hike Prices Of Its Lineup In 2021

2020 has been a tough year for the entire world. The automotive industry as a whole may have bounced back after taking one of the worst financial hits, however, India’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki has now announced it will hike prices of its entire lineup from January 2021. 

While this may be upsetting, on the brighter side of things, customers will be treated to some exciting year-end offers until December 31. The price hikes will vary for different models depending on the rise in input costs for each car over the course of 2020. Let’s take a look at the current prices of Maruti’s lineup:

We may also see other carmakers increasing the prices of their cars from the beginning of the new year. Maruti Suzuki is set to launch a host of new models in 2021 while existing models such as the Alto and Celerio will get a generation update. We will also possibly witness the launch of the much anticipated Jimny by the end of next year. So while the latest development might come as a disappointment, the launch of new Maruti cars will surely make up for it. The facelifted Swift is also expected to launch by February 2021.
