With Dussehra and Navratri celebrations in full swing, Mercedes-Benz India has sparkled this festive season with over 200 units delivered in Mumbai, Gujarat and other markets. Mercedes-Benz has also claimed that it has surpassed its festival delivery tally of 2018, which is a welcome surprise considering the current automotive slowdown in the country.
Breaking down the figures of the feat, over 125 Mercedes-Benz units were delivered to customers in Mumbai on Dussehra. On the other hand, 74 units were delivered to customers in Gujarat during Navratri. Out of the units delivered, sedans such as the C-Class and E-Class, as well as SUVs such as the GLC and GLE were the models of choice in Mumbai. In Gujarat, however, the CLA, GLA and C-Class were the preferred models.
This delivery report from Mercedes-Benz is a good sign, heading into Diwali later this year with more deliveries expected. The carmaker’s dealer network in the country spans across 47 cities with 94 outlets.
