German car maker Mercedes-Benz has introduced their new iSales app in India. Sales consultants in company dealerships will now be equipped with Apple iPads with the iSales application installed in them, offering a virtual tour to the manufacturer’s cars and giving customers a chance to customise their car before booking it. “In this age of globalisation our customers always want to be in touch with the world on the go, and our iSales platform will not only give them access to the world of Mercedes-Benz but also they can virtually experience the fascinating range of Mercedes-Benz cars and customise according to their choices before booking the car. The app also explains any specified models’ features in detail,” said Debasis Mitra, Director, Marketing and Sales, Mercedes-Benz India. The iSales app will also enable discerning customers to view various options available in Daimler Financial Services.
The iSales application will provide a 360-degree view of any available model from the car maker along with customised paint jobs, accessories, equipment and interiors using the various tools available in the application’s interface. The app also has a finance option where a sales consultant can book the order from a customer within minutes of confirmation.
The iSales application will be available across 31 cities in the existing 72 dealerships and future outlets as well.
