Mercedes-Benz UK has launched its first chauffeur website as part of a new campaign with support and specific offers, designed for the professional driver market

New chauffer site for Mercedes-Benz customers

The web has become an effective tool for luxury cars makers in recent times particularly in bringing their customers as close to the brand as possible through a variety of online portals that cater to the vehicle owners or potential buyers most inane queries and concerns.

Being a brand as reputed as they are Mercedes-Benz has capitalized on yet another digital opportunity to convenience its chauffer driven customers by introducing a new website dedicated to the cause. The new dedicated chauffeur section, which sits within the Mercedes-Benz Fleet site, is designed to be an easy-to-use online tool that provides useful data on a particular vehicle and the best financing schemes for its rental.

Complimentary service packages, a range of accessories and even a photo service option also enables chauffeur companies to source high quality images of Mercedes-Benz models for their websites and brochures.

Nick Andrews, Head of Fleet at Mercedes-Benz, said: “This new website highlights our commitment to make Mercedes-Benz UK much easier to deal with for the chauffeur market.  We are working hard to create dedicated offers and give focused support to the professional drivers, all of which have been designed with our customers’ business in mind.”

Customers in the UK can choose from four different models that include the S-Class S 350 BlueTEC L and R-Class. By opting for the Complete Care service one is entitled to special privileges that include a welcome pack, a TRACKER vehicle recovery unit, and most importantly 24-hour roadside assistance in case of a vehicle breakdown or emergency.

Just like in the UK markets, Mercedes-Benz cars are in high demand here in the Indian subcontinent as well, and a majority of customers here in India like to be chauffer driven. Introducing a similar chauffer assistance online portal for its Indian customers and chauffer companies could help the brand tap the country’s untouched professional driver market.
