Mercedes-Benz Launches Mobilo Customer Assistance Service

Mercedes-Benz has launched a new service initiative to support its customers. Called Mobilo, it's a 24x7 road assistance service which will provide help in the event of a mishap, breakdown, accident or vandalism of the car. Mobilo is divided in two categories: Mobilo Plus and Mobilo Lite.

Mobilo Plus is a standard service program which is provided as complementary to Mercedes-Benz customers for three years from the purchase date of the vehicle. The customer can choose to extend it from fourth to the eighth year by paying a minimum amount of Rs 3,999. This amount is variable depending on the model.

Here are the benefits offered under Mobilo Plus:

  • Complimentary roadside repairs
  • Complimentary towing (in case of mechanical, electrical or accidental breakdown)
  • Complimentary taxi service up to 50 km from breakdown location
  • Replacement vehicle (mechanical or electrical breakdown)
  • Onward/return travel (economy class for passengers legally allowed in the vehicle)
  • Hotel accommodation (maximum 3 nights)
  • Legal advice & medical coordination as required

The minimum requirement to avail this service is that the customers have to get their cars serviced at least once a year from an authorised Mercedes-Benz service centre. It will be valid up to one year from the date of the last Periodic Maintenance Service.

Mercedes-Benz is already the market leader in its segment, followed by BMW and Audi in second and third position respectively.
