Mercedes-Benz has launched a new service initiative to support its customers. Called Mobilo, it's a 24x7 road assistance service which will provide help in the event of a mishap, breakdown, accident or vandalism of the car. Mobilo is divided in two categories: Mobilo Plus and Mobilo Lite.
Mobilo Plus is a standard service program which is provided as complementary to Mercedes-Benz customers for three years from the purchase date of the vehicle. The customer can choose to extend it from fourth to the eighth year by paying a minimum amount of Rs 3,999. This amount is variable depending on the model.
Here are the benefits offered under Mobilo Plus:
Mobilo Lite is a 24X7 RSA (Roadside Assistance) service provided by authorised Mercedes-Benz service centres to their customers for 365 days from the last periodic service. The minimum requirement to avail this service is that the customers have to get their cars serviced at least once a year from an authorised Mercedes-Benz service centre. It will be valid up to one year from the date of the last Periodic Maintenance Service.
Mercedes Mobilo Service can be availed in the following conditions:
Last year, Mercedes also launched Exclusive AMG service bays at all its AMG Performance Centres. These were aimed at providing lower turnaround time for servicing to its AMG customers by providing prioritised and personalised service. Initiatives like these will really help the German manufacturer further strengthen its position in the luxury car market. Mercedes-Benz is already the market leader in its segment, followed by BMW and Audi in second and third position respectively.
