A major force in the world of global motorsports since 1894, Mercedes-Benz has in a sense played an important role in shaping the way we watch the fast-paced sport today. Their high-performance cars and luxurious saloons are the dreams of many, and now as the official automotive partner of the first ever Indian Grand Prix the three pointed star is going flat out to bring the sport closer to fans in the country.

For starters, the German luxury car maker has quite clearly taken utmost advantage of its well networked dealerships across India, where ‘Pit Stops’ selling Indian Grand Prix tickets will be specially setup for F1 enthusiasts hoping to catch the action live at the Buddh Circuit in Delhi.
For those who have forever dreamed of driving some of the fastest machines from the Merc den, Mercedes-Benz India has organized its very own Performance Driving Academy, where motorsport junkies in the country can experience the thrill of actually driving these cars on the racing circuit through well-structured programs and the help of professional trainers .
For most of us, who are still too young to really bring home our very own Mercedes-Benz, the ‘Silver Star’ has organized an exclusive youth oriented programme, which it calls the ‘Mercedes-Benz Speed Date’. Scheduled for the third week of October in Mumbai, this particular event will be a visual treat for the country’s petrolheads, as it will see the participation of over 100 Mercedes-Benz and AMG cars on the city’s streets.
As a part of its ‘MTV Date with Speed’ college activation programme, Mercedes-Benz will also be organizing lifestyle parties across multiple cities at the hippest pubs.

As an Official Automobile Partner, Mercedes-Benz cars will also serve as the Official Safety car, Fast Intervention Vehicles and Race Control Cars in Motorsport event in the country.
