Morris Lubricants is one of the oldest lubricants manufacturers in the world. The UK-based manufacturer has entered the Indian market and commenced operations through its fully owned Indian subsidiary Paterson Lubricants India Pvt. ltd. The company currently aims to focus its establishment in the Western and Southern part of India. The company meets quality levels prescribed by the American Petroleum Institute (API), European ACEA and Japanese JASO, to mention a few.
The company currently manufactures lubricants for a wide range of applications, which include engine oils, coolants, brake fluids, greases, gear and transmission oils, machine oils, industry oils, aerosols, etc. The lubricants are used to serve the following purposes: automotive, agriculture, power generation, industry, steam, horticulture, marine, rail, motorsport, to mention a few. The company targets to explore growth opportunities in the bio-degradable lubricants segment.
Andrew Wilkins, Director, Paterson Enterprises, UK, said, “To establish our presence in India, we are initially introducing a range of lubricants, manufactured for cars, commercial vehicles, tractors and two-wheelers. We are planning to launch premium segment engine oils for Euro IV / BSIV market and also semi-synthetic and synthetic motor oils for fuel efficient cars. We also have an exciting range of products for the fast growing motorcycle segment.”
