MRF Ltd announced that it has been adjudged as the highest in customer satisfaction by the J D Power Asia Pacific 2016 India Original Tyre Satisfaction Study for Passenger Cars and SUVs. It was the 12th occasion in the past 16 years of the award that MRF has won the category and it is also the only tyre manufacturer to be conferred with J.D. Power Customer Satisfaction Awards.
Overall 3,500 different car owners participated in the survey and among the criteria, MRF came out triumphant. The parameters for the survey were appearance, durability, ride , traction and handling. MRF scored highly with respect to appearance as per the Study which was published by the J D Power Singapore Office.
Speaking about the award, Koshy K. Varghese Executive Vice President - Marketing, said, “The biggest reward, however, still remains the trust reposed in Brand MRF by its customers that has propelled it to leadership position and maintained it there for close to thirty years at the top of the tyre industry.”
Also as per the study 59 per cent tyre customers in India buy their tyres from an authorised tyre store, recognising this MRF has made several initiatives in popularising the MRF T&S Tyre Service Outlets. MRF is India’s largest tyre manufacturer and among the top 20 manufacturers on a global scale. It currently has 9 state-of-the-art factories across India, and also holdthe distinction of being India’s largest OEM tyre manufacturer with an expansive tyre range from two-wheelers to fighter aircraft.
