MV Agusta is renowned for making some exclusive motorcycles, but this time, we think the bike maker might have outdone itself. Meet the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RC Shining Gold. As the name suggests, this special edition motorcycle features a generous amount of gold finished parts, like the fuel tank, alloy wheels, frame and headlamp cowl. Apart from the gold finish, it features an SC Project Reparto Corse exhaust.
Even if you are a billionaire and have the moolah to own it, you will only be able to look at the images, because this is a one-off edition has been sold to a special customer. In fact, MV Agusta also offered the customer a custom X-lite X-803 Ultra Carbon helmet in the same finish. Apart from the above mentioned changes, the motorcycle remains almost identical to the standard Dragster 800 RC mechanically. It is powered by a 798cc, three-cylinder motor that pumps out a whopping 140PS and 87Nm of torque at 10,000rpm! MV Agusta claims that the Dragster 800 RC has a top speed of 245kmph.
The tubular trellis frame is suspended on Marzocchi USD fork up front and a Sachs monoshock at the rear. In terms of riders aids, MV Agusta has made sure that there are enough electronic trickeries to keep this 140PS beast on the ground. It gets an 8-stage traction control system, an EAS 2.0 electronic shifter, four riding modes, Bosch 9+ ABS unit and rear-wheel lift-up mitigation (RLM). What is different on this bike is that instead of the lovely wire spoke rims seen on the Dragster, the Shining Gold gets alloy rims that are found on the Brutale 800 RC.
Recently, MV Agusta had launched another stunning motorcycle, the F3 800 RC in India at Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom India). And as you might have guessed it, the F3 800 RC is also a limited-edition model and only six units are up for grabs in India, one of which has already been sold! So, you might not get the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RC Shining Gold, but you might still have a chance to get the F3 800 RC.
