At the 2018 EICMA, MV Agusta showcased a jaw-dropping motorcycle, the Superveloce 800. After unveiling the motorcycle, MV Agusta had confirmed that it would bring the production version of the motorcycle to life and that’s exactly what the bike maker has done! The Italian manufacturer has taken the wraps off the production version of the Superveloce 800, which is available in two variants: Standard and an uber-expensive variant, ‘Serie Oro.’
You see, being a Serie Oro variant has its own perks. For instance, it gets carbon-fibre body panels to reduce the weight. Additionally, some of the design elements such as the wire-spoked wheels, the red and silver paint schemes, the leather tank strap, and the special fuel cap have been carried over from the concept version. Thank you, MV Agusta!
The standard version of the Superveloce 800 doesn’t get these fancy parts, but even in its ‘standard’ form, it looks absolutely insane! Powering the motorcycle is the same 798cc inline-triple motor that powers a range of MV Agustas. In the standard Superveloce 800, this motor makes 148PS and 88Nm of torque. However, if you tick the right box and fit a track-only exhaust system, you have 153PS at your disposal! Check out our detailed story on MV Agusta’s newest eye candy.
Now, we know not all of us can afford an MV Agusta, heck, even the company knows that. Thankfully, it has found a solution: MV Agusta has teamed up with Chinese bike maker Loncin Motor Company to manufacture small-capacity motorcycles.
