New BMW Z4 launched in India at Rs 68.90 Lakh

BMW India has launched the new facelifted Z4 convertible in India at a mouth-watering price of Rs 68.90 Lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the basic model and Rs 69.90 Lakh for the new ‘Design Pure Traction’ variant. 

The new Z4 comes with a few minor facelifts like a slightly redesigned kidney grille and a new headlamp cluster with hexagonal daytime running lights. These new headlamps with it’s corona shaped fibre optic daytime running lights make the Z4 look much more appealing than before. The new Z4 is available in a new color, Valencia Orange. The new color though is available only with the new ‘Design Pure Traction’ package that also includes additional equipment like a special metal weave finish for the interior trim. The ‘Design Pure Package’ also features the ‘BMW Individual’ anthracite headliner with leather and Alcantara seats.

BMW’s 3.0 Litre, straight 6, twin-turbocharged, petrol engine will power the new BMW Z4. Making 310PS and 400Nm of torque, the Z4 is certainly capable of holding it’s own against newer sportscars like Mercedes’ SLK and Audi’s TT. That said, the Z4 still looks modern and attractive due to its perfect proportions with its long bonnet and stubby boot. The Z4 will be available in dealerships effective immediately.
