Since its introduction in India back in April 2012, the Maruti Ertiga seven-seater MPV has sold over 2 lakh units till date. Now the car manufacturer has launched a special Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Paseo Explore edition which comes with additional features and new body graphics.
In terms of the external upgrades, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Paseo Explore will come with special body graphic and black stickers to create a floating roof appearance. The other addition to the exterior is a rear spoiler which make the profile of the MPV slightly longer than before.
Inside, it gets more up-market seat upholstery with matching cushions, faux leather wrapped steering wheel, Bluetooth with speaker mounted on the steering, cool box for the rear seat passengers, extra storage compartment on the door panels, Ertiga branded chrome door sill plates, a multi-device charger, designer floor mats and ambient lighting. Apart from these, the new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Paseo Explore also comes with handy features like a digital tyre inflator and reverse parking sensors.
This seems to an attempt to clear off old stock, before the new Maruti Ertiga facelift is introduced in India. The Ertiga facelift will make its global debut on August 20, 2015, in Indonesia during the 2015 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show. Post this it will make its entry to India, since the MPV is produced in our country. The new Maruti Ertiga facelift is expected to offer better mileage and features than before too.
