Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled the all-new C63 AMG which will premiere next week at the Paris Motor Show. The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG has an aggressive body kit that includes sportier bumpers, aerodynamic side skirts and a rear diffuser which is flanked by a typically AMG four-tailpipe sports exhaust system. The car also has a power-dome hood, an AMG-branded grille and 18-inch lightweight alloy wheels.
Eighteen inch ten-spoke alloy wheels with a titanium grey finish are installed on the C63 AMG whereas the C63 AMG S has larger 19-inch rims featuring a five twin-spoke design and a titanium grey polished look. The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG S can also be had with optional ceramic composite brakes and sport tires.
On the insides, the sporty styling continues in the cabin as the model boasts leather sport bucket seats, a flat-bottomed steering wheel and stainless steel pedals. Drivers will also find themselves surrounded by an ARTICO-wrapped dashboard, aluminum trim and a black headliner. Other notable highlights include an AMG-specific instrument cluster, illuminated front door sill plates and AMG-branded floor mats.
Both the sedan and estate will be offered in C63 AMG and C63 AMG S versions with power coming from a newly developed V8 4.0-litre twin-turbo engine. In the C63 AMG it develops 476PS of peak power between 5500-6250rpm and maximum torque of 650 Nm between 1750-4500rpm. Upgrade to the C63 AMG S and you get 510PS of peak power and an earth shattering 700Nm of peak torque.
In terms of sheer performance, the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG sedan needs 4.1-seconds to do the 0-100kmph sprint whereas the estate is 0.1s slower. The C63 AMG S sedan covers the run in 4 seconds compared to its wagon sibling, which does it in 4.1 seconds. A 250kmph electronic speed limiter will be installed in all four versions.
