As the name suggests, a new Tata model will be delivered to customers in a literal bubble wrap.
It is a part of ‘Sanitised by Tata Motors’ initiative to push sanitised vehicle deliveries to customers.
The initiative also encourages virtual interactions, as well as vehicle insurance and registration collections being done via mail or drop boxes.
Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic caused plenty of businesses including the automotive industry to be severely affected, carmakers have been hard at work to recover lost ground with new ways to resume operations while maintaining strict safety standards. Well Tata Motors has taken it up a notch with its new initiative named Safety Bubble.
As the name suggests, Tata Motors will be delivering cars to customers in essentially a plastic bubble with a part transparent wall around the car. This is part of the carmaker’s ‘Sanitised by Tata Motors’ initiative in which a new Tata model will be fully sanitised and untouched by the dealership until it is delivered to the customer. This safety bubble is another step to shield the car from bacteria and viruses.
Aside from this, the ‘Sanitised by Tata Motors’ initiative also includes any discussions with customers being done virtually, with vehicle insurance and registration collections being done via mail or specially installed drop boxes at dealerships.
