With the COVID-19 lockdown easing across the country, several automakers have started launching their BS6 products as well as all-new motorcycles. This month saw two new electric scooters being launched as well as the resurrection of Honda’s 125cc scooter and commuter motorcycle. Triumph too launched a couple of its 2020 motorcycles which included an all-new range of adventure motorcycles. Here’s the list of two-wheeler launches this month:
Bajaj Pulsar Split Seat variant (Rs 79,091 ex-showroom Delhi):
Bajaj did sell the split seat variant of the Pulsar 125 in select states like Andhra Pradesh, Bihar and Telangana. It has now launched the premium 125cc motorcycle variant across India. While the powertrain and underpinnings are the same as the base Pulsar 125, the split seat variant gets design bits like a belly pan, tank extensions, a split grab rail as well as new colours. Honda Grazia BS6 (Rs 73,336):
Honda has updated the Grazia BS6 with an all-new motor as well as cosmetic and feature updates. It gets a sharper headlamp setup and a revised tail section that now has an external fuel filler cap. Features include a revised instrument console that now shows instantaneous and average fuel efficiency and distance to empty as well as an ACG silent starter and engine start-stop tech. Honda CD 110 Dream (Rs 62,729 ex-showroom Ahmedabad):

The CD 110 Dream is Honda’s first BS6 compliant 110cc commuter motorcycle. It gets an all-new 110cc fuel-injected mill that makes more power than the BS4 model but sees a drop in torque. Triumph Tiger 900 (Starting Rs 13.7 lakh ex-showroom India):
Triumph has launched the all-new and more capable Tiger 900 in India. It is available in GT, Rally and Rally Pro variants and cost just Rs 30,000 to 35,000 more than the Tiger 800. The Tiger 900 is more compact than its predecessor and gets an all-new bodywork. The new 888cc in-line triple motor gets a new 1-3-2 firing order and makes 8Nm more torque at the bottom end. Triumph Bonneville T100 Black, T120 Black:
Other than the new Tigers, Triumph has launched two new Bonneville variants. The Black edition bikes get new paint schemes, all-new black paint job and in the case of the T120, a tan coloured seat. Gemopai Miso (Rs 44,000 ex-showroom):
The Gemopai Miso is an electric moped that does not require a licence to ride. It gets a tubular frame and no bodywork. It weighs just 45kg but can carry a payload of up to 125kg. It gets a hub-mounted electric that offers a top speed of 25 to 35kmph. The lithium-ion battery pack has a range of 75km. Know more details about the scooter here.
Ampere Magnus Pro (Rs 73,990 ex-showroom):
The Ampere Magnus Pro gets a conventional bodywork and a 1.2kW electric motor allows for a top speed of 55kmph. It gets a removable lithium-ion battery pack that delivers a range of 100km in Eco mode and 75 to 80km in Cruise mode.
