The Mercedes-Benz ML-Class has been the German luxury car manufacturer’s mainstay SUV in India until the recent launch of the new luxury compact SUV, the GLA. The ML will soon get a complete refresh with an all-new look, a new interior and a new set of engines with its forth generation due for launch in 2016.
The new Mercedes-Benz ML will feature the same family look like the one found on the new C-Class and S-Class with a large front grille and a set of dual barrel stretched headlamps. We also expect quite a few design elements to be similar to the likes of the new generation cars including the bumper design. As seen in the spy pictures, the new ML might adopt a slightly edgier design with even larger dimensions than before.
The new ML will get a set of turbocharged petrol and diesel engines along with the more powerful AMG-version of the car. The new ML will also feature a plug-in Hybrid version to compete with the likes of the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid variants that will be launched at the upcoming 2014 Paris Motor show. The new ML will also feature a new interior with the same screen design that features in the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Rumours also suggest that due to its larger exterior dimensions, the new ML might include a seven seater option for the first time ever.
