Your Volkswagen car could be the next Bollywood star! Volkswagen is hosting the first ever car audition called the 'My Car Superstar' for its customers in India. The winning car will get to star in Saif Ali Khan, Vir Das and Kunal Khemu's upcoming flick, Go Goa Gone.
To get your car featured, simply participate in the auditions being initiated on Volkswagen's Facebook page and upload a picture of your VW car with a caption that says why your car is a superstar.
The audition closes March 31, 2012, and the winners will be selected by the leading actors, and director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, whose last direction was Shor in the City. The winning car will have the opportunity to be driven by the lead actors of the movie for a road trip to Goa and will also appear in a song sequence with them. That's not all, the winner will get to see meet and greet the cast during the shoot, get two invites for the movie's premiere, and see his/her name and car number being rolled on the credits.
Commenting on this initiative, Lutz Kothe, Head of Marketing & PR, Volkswagen Passenger Cars said, "It is an exciting contest and a unique way to engage all our customers who own a Volkswagen. We are sure the owner of the winning car will enjoy this experience."
The contest is open to customers owning any Volkswagen models be it Polo, Jetta or Passat, but we think the charming li'l Beetle will suit the movie's theme just fine. And a yellow one, if you please!
