The exclusive brand store will showcase all Vespa models and with it, Piaggio intends to reach out to the internet savy customers for the brand.
With the launch, Piaggio has also announced that all the Vespa models - Vespa, VX, Vespa S and Vespa Elegante – can be booked online on Snapdeal at a minimum amount of just Rs 5,000.
Speaking about the new partnership, Mr. Sanjeev Goyle Executive Vice President - 2W Business, Piaggio Vehicles Private Limited (India) said, “Today’s generation loves online shopping and prefers brands that provide buyer friendly shopping options. Hence we decided to launch a virtual store that will offer the fastest possible Vespa buying experience.”
Piaggio claims that the brand store has been curated keeping the Vespa brand in mind and the finer nuances that it is associated with. The Italian marquee isn’t the first of the manufacturers to take adapt the e-commerce way. Mahindra too had associated with Snapdeal for pre-booking the new Scorpio when it was launched last year.
