Piaggio the parent company for Italian brands Vespa, Aprilia and Moto Guzzi has some special plans in store for the Indian market. The Italian marquee will throw open its first Motoplex store on November 3rd in India. The new Motoplex store will be located in Pune and will be the first of its kind showroom in Asia. At the Motoplex store, consumers can walk in to buy any products from the stables of the three Italian brands. The multi brand motorcycle showroom seems to be a good step given the fact that all the three brands are premium offerings in the Indian market and should help the Italian brand in increasing its dealer network in India.
Moto Guzzi is an Italian boutique motorcycle brand and among the most exclusive motorcycle maker in our market. Currently Moto Guzzi has four motorcycles on sale in India which includes the California 1400, Griso SE, Bellagio and the Sports 8V. The Moto Guzzi motorcycle range in India has been priced between Rs 17.62 lakh to 23 lakh in our market. Aprilia is among the popular Italian motorcycle brands with a rich motorsport history. The Aprilia India range of motorcycles consists of eight motorcycles including the SRV 850 ABS scooter. The Aprilia India portfolio has been priced between Rs 15.47 lakh to 26.83 lakh. Vespa are renowned for their stylish premium range of scooters and was recently updated. Currently the Vespa scooters are available with both 125cc motor and 150cc powerplant.
