Prices of five MV Agusta India bikes revealed

MV Agusta has disclosed the details of its much-awaited launch of operations in the country with the inauguration of its showroom range called Motoroyale. Motor company Kinetic, which is bringing the MV Agusta bikes to India, recently confirmed to Car and Bike that the first Indian showrooms will be inaugurated in January 2016, initially in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore and then a few other cities in the coming months, and the entire range of motorbikes will be available on sale in the country thereafter. Prices of at least five MV Agusta models have also been revealed.

MV Agusta Brutale 80

Priced between the Rs 13 lakh and Rs 14 lakh, the Brutale 800 will lead the pack for MV Agusta in India, with a launch expected sometime in July 2016. The motorbike will be powered by an inline three-cylinder motor, churning out 127PS at 11,600rpm and a peak torque rating of 81Nm at 8,600rpm. The second most-affordable MV Agusta to be offered in the Indian market will be the 800cc, 150PS F3 800 which will be priced at Rs 16.2 lakh. Coming via the SKD route to India, the bike will be up for grabs from January itself.

Other offerings from the Italian manufacturer will include the Brutale 1090 and two siblings from the top-of-the-line F4 series that offers one other model globally. The 1090 houses the 1078cc, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine delivers 146PS of maximum power at 10,300rpm and 112Nm of torque and will be valued at around Rs 18-19 lakh.

The MV Agusta F4, costing around Rs 26 lakh, will have a 998cc, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine delivering 197.7PS of maximum power at 13,400rpm and 111Nm of peak torque at 9,600rpm. The more menacing, Rs 34 lakh-worth F4 RR will deliver 201bhp at 13,600rpm and 111Nm at 9,600rpm using the same engine.

Two other models/variants - F4 RC and Dragster - will be made available only after ordering them.
