We’ve been seeing numerous spy shots of the next-gen Benelli TNT 600 on the interwebs from as far back as July last year. Based on these images, we believe the middleweight streetnaked could be offered in two variants: standard and premium, with the only differentiating factor between the two being their design. Know more about the difference here. The most recent development though, showcases the next-gen Benelli TNT 600 in its production-ready form. What’s more? The bike seems to have gained plenty of new features such as keyless ignition, backlit switchgear and a full-colour TFT-display.
A couple of videos and pictures floating around the internet have even managed to capture the name of the bike. Stickers on the side panels reveal that Benelli could use the name ‘SRK600’ or ‘SR600K’ for its upcoming middleweight streetnaked instead of the current TNT 600i. The clip also unveils a key fob which uses a flip open key to access the fuel filler cap and a tank-mounted touch-sensitive start button illuminated by RGB LEDs.

Other changes include an underbelly exhaust instead of the older and dated underseat setup. The images also reveal a new sub frame and a radiator that’s more angled than before. The rest of the hardware remains pretty much unchanged. It's likely to be powered by the same heart too, which will be updated to meet new emission laws across the world. In its BS4 guise, the Benelli TNT 600i made 86.24PS at 11,500rpm and 54.6Nm, mated to a 6-speed transmission.
Benelli had planned to launch the next-gen TNT 600 around mid-May. However, that had to be put on hold due to the outbreak of COVID-19. That said, new images from the factory floor suggest that production is in full swing, which means the bike isn't far from receiving a new launch date.
